We drove all the way from Florida to Louisiana for Katelyn’s board and train program, and it was absolutely worth the 12 to 14 hour drive each way! My fiancé and I each have pit bull breeds that were very selective around other dogs. Being able to safely introduce them and have them coexist peacefully was incredibly important for us because we were planning to move in together. Katelyn had them working together every day, and by the end of the first week they were already spending time together successfully. Today, Saks and Mia are able to peacefully coexist, which is something we weren’t sure would ever be possible. In addition to their social progress, both dogs learned proper leash manners. The pulling, barking, and reacting to other dogs on walks have improved tremendously. One of my favorite changes is how much Saks checks in with me now. He’s constantly looking to me for guidance and is so eager to please. Our bond and communication are stronger than ever. We also sent my dad’s dog, Britt, for obedience training because she couldn’t walk on a leash at all. Katelyn did an amazing job with her, and she came home walking beautifully. Unfortunately, my dad hasn’t been able to consistently follow through with the training at home, and it really showed me how true it is that training isn’t just for the dog the owner has to be willing to learn and stay consistent too. Even though we’re over 12 hours away, Katelyn continues to provide remote support after the program and is always incredibly responsive when we have questions. The level of care, communication, and dedication she provides is outstanding. 10 out of 10 experience. We would make the drive again without hesitation and highly recommend Katelyn to anyone looking for real results and lasting support.
