FirstBarkThey charged me a late pick up fee despite picking my dog up at 3pm, even though they didn't log her out of their system until 8 at night. I emailed to inquire about it and they never responded to my query. After I posted this review they got back to me and issued a refund. I was otherwise happy with the care my dog got, so I updated my star rating from 1 to 4 stars.

Dear Mandy and the team at Best Friends Forever, I'm writing to you again because the more I think about everything you did for Kimber, the more grateful I feel. While the card and arrangement I dropped off were a small gesture of my thanks, I wanted to put into words just how much your actions truly meant to me. I am still in awe of your quick thinking in noticing something was wrong and taking Kimber to the emergency vet. But what truly touched me was your call from the clinic. The fact that you stepped out of the room to advise me on the vet's quote, saying, "This is what I would do for my own dog," was an incredible act of compassion. You treated my pet like your own, and that personal guidance helped me make the best decision for him. The care you gave was extraordinary, and the fact that you did not charge for your time or effort is a testament to your character and the values of Best Friends Forever. I would also like to give you a five-star review for your services. It's so comforting to know that I have a home away from home where I can take my boy the next time I have an emergency or have to leave town. I will forever be thankful for everything you did. If anyone is in need of Dog training, I 10/10 recommend Mandy & Best Friend Forever K9 in Gig Harbor. We did a 3 week boarding training and it really has made a huge impact on our dog Halo for the best and the difference in her skills is night and day! Amazing! She also runs a doggy day care if anyone is taking a vacation and needs someone to watch their doggo(s)! 🐾🙌🏻
