Chris earns all these 5-star ratings for a reason. He gets results. Rigsby is a young terrier mix who is feisty and energetic, with a strong prey drive. Despite some previous training elsewhere, she didn't demonstrate the level of obedience we expected. We did some thorough research and decided to go with Best By Farr, and we are very pleased with the results. We decided to do the six-week program with Chris and couldn't be more pleased. Some of the common themes throughout the other reviews include: * Chris trains the dog owners as well as the dog (I certainly needed that), * He provides clear instructions and is a master of metaphors, which help simplify complex concepts and make training theory concepts more relatable. * He loves dogs, and he wants them to succeed Dog walks with distractions are no longer stressful for her or us. She eagerly responds to "place", "sit" & "down" commands and continues to improve "come" and staying put until called or released by us. She's still a puppy, but she is so much better than before we went to Chris. She requires mental stimulation and looks forward to daily training. Now we know what to do and how to do it. As a result, she (and we) are happier and healthier because of the training Chris provided. We highly recommend Best By Farr Dog Training.

Best By Farr dog training was so helpful with my 6 year old Aussie. Before taking my dog here, she would pull and jump and bite at the leash and was reactive on walks when seeing other dogs. This made it very difficult to enjoy walks. We had issues with her barking and jumping on guests entering the home as well. She is a wonderful dog, but I didn’t know how to guide her or correct the behaviors. After her three week board and train with Best by Farr, and the three additional owner lessons that were included in her training, my dog is doing an amazing job! She knows to place, sit, down, and heel when walking. I was able to message them with any questions and also address issues I was having with my at home training during my owner lessons. I am able to have people come over and she stays on her bed while they enter our home. She seems to thrive with our daily home lessons and I feel like I understand my dog better and she understands me! I highly recommend Best by Farr for your dog training needs! I am so happy with the results! Our sweet pup is happy too!

Best By Farr is precisely that "THE BEST". I have a very independent, smart Siberian Husky who is adorable, but had no manners or control of his excitement. I was so frustrated and upset. Chris took my dog and turned him into the sweetest and most well-mannered dog, and he still had his silly personality. Chris's instruction is for the dog and, most importantly, the owner. We went from my dog dragging me around, bruising my arms by trying to hold him back, biting and jumping on me, to being able to walk around others and other dogs without so much as a tug, and he now respects my space. Chris gives clear instructions and explains the methods in a very understandable way, and they make complete sense. I wish I had found Best By Farr before I wasted money on the chain pet training facilities. This was truly a game-changer. I'm comfortable that I can take him anywhere and be in control! I'm so happy with the results!!

5 Stars – Exceptional Dog (and Human) Training! We brought our two 1.5-year-old chocolate labs to Best By Farr Dog Training, and the difference has been incredible. With a 1-year-old son and a small home, it was crucial that our dogs become more manageable—and thanks to Chris, they absolutely are. But what really set this experience apart is that Chris didn’t just train our dogs—he trained us too. He took the time to explain not just what to do, but why it matters. That kind of insight made a huge difference in helping us maintain the progress once the dogs came home. It’s not just about obedience—it’s about building the right habits for everyone involved. Chris was communicative, kind, and clearly passionate about his work. Our dogs loved him, and it was obvious they felt safe and engaged during training. The results speak for themselves, but the accountability he instills in owners makes it sustainable long after the sessions end.
