Best By Farr Dog Training

Cannot recommend Best By Farr highly enough - truly 5/5 stars just isn't enough! We sent our 3 year old golden retriever to Best By Farr for a board and train program. Prior to training, our pup was difficult to walk on a leash, had some anxiety around other dogs, and just generally ruled our household! After a very thorough consultation session with Chris, I knew Best By Farr would be a good fit. Our dog spent 3 weeks boarding and during this time we received regular video updates on his progress. He came home a completely changed dog!! Not only is he generally less anxious, he now walks perfectly on a leash and responds so well to sit, down, come, etc even in high-distraction scenarios. Since bringing him home, we've gone back for 3 one-on-one sessions during which we learned so much about how to maintain and even further his training at home. Chris has such an amazing understanding of dogs and why they behave the way they do. In just these 3 sessions he taught us so much about how to understand and address our dog's behavior in a way that was easy for us to understand and apply to all types of situations we may encounter at home. Our experience with Best By Farr was overwhelmingly positive and has greatly improved life with our dog!

We are so impressed with what our puppy, Kydo, has learned at Best by Farr. Our dog can go to place and sit calmly when we command him to and that is so helpful when people come over or deliver packages. He is also now an absolute pleasure to walk. He stays right at our side and sits down the second we stop walking. He doesn't pull at all! Thank you, Chris Farr, for teaching our dog to be so obedient and easy to handle.
