He has a talent for explaining what you are trying to achieve with your dog in the most amazing metaphors. They connect to the behavior of the dog in human terms so you can clearly understand why your dog may behave or react in a certain way. Chris was spectacular w/ my dog, Capone. Unlike other trainers I've worked with, Chris truly customizes the board & train to the clients needs so there really isn't much - if anything - he can't help with. I appreciated his calm, kind and simple approach to his training style (my 1 year old pup was likely abused before I adopted him so the demeanor of the trainer was key for me). He took all the time necessary to make sure I was well "trained" too, which many would argue is more important than having the dog itself dialed-in. :) His facility is fantastic w/ access to just about every scenario you can think up and is also very safe and comfortable for the dogs. Most importantly and uniquely is that he stands behind his training for the duration of the dogs life so, should you need help, he's there to assist. You really can't ask for more than that! We decided to talk with Chris about some obedience training for our new Bernedoodle Puppy (Dakota). From the initial consultation it was clear that Chris was very special and has an incredible passion for working with dogs.
