If anyone asks me to recommend a dog trainer, without hesitation I would recommend Erin Bessey. It was a pleasure to work with Erin. She is very qualified and respected in her profession. I even met a veterinarian who took her dog to Erin. I was discouraged with my efforts to train my pup. Under Erin’s skillful guidance things quickly improved. I now have a calm puppy who responds to commands, behaves, and our walks are no longer a struggle.Thank you, Erin.

It was such a delight to work with Erin, owner of Bessey’s Positive Paws. She was accommodating throughout and always happy to communicate via email. She answered countless questions and helped us shape our pup, Arrow, into the dog that we hoped he’d be. It was incredible to see her work with Arrow - she had a calm presence that works exceedingly well with puppies. I’d highly recommend Erin to anyone interested in training their dog. And from personal experience, I can speak to the virtual sessions being just as beneficial as the in-person ones.

Erin is patient, understanding, and very knowledgeable. She is easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable asking any question or discussing any situation concerning our puppy. We did all of our sessions via zoom and we always felt that we got just as much information and helpful techniques from it as we would have in person. We now have videos we can always watch again and handouts to refer to whenever an old "problem" arises. Thank you, Erin, for being such a supportive and reliable trainer.
