FirstBarkI have been very pleased with Bernard's help with my dog Decafe I adopted him and didn't know what he had been through before I got him. I had so many problems with him before Bernard came to the rescue. Bernard has a very quiet way of working with anxious and scared dogs. My dog responded right away and I now am able to do things with Decafe that would never have been done without his help.

We adopted Harry at 15 months, after he had been returned by his original owners because they couldn’t handle him. He was very intelligent, but willful and acted out on walks. We knew we needed help and so interviewed a number of trainers. We liked Bernard’s approach, which fully integrated the two of us into Harry’s training, rather than ship him off to “doggie boot camp.” Bernard’s focus on understanding why dogs behave as they do rather than attempting to bend the dog to the owners’ will was exactly what we wanted. His calm and patient manner with dogs (and owners) works wonders. Thanks to Bernard, Harry is turning into a wonderful golden retriever who loves people, going on walks, and playing ball. We recommend Bernard/Berd Dog without reservation.
