Behavior Plus Dog Training

I could not say enough about Sabino, Frank and Behavioral Plus. We rescued our 2 year old dog in February, he was a stray from Kentucky and although he stole our hearts from the beginning he had a past and a lot of bad behaviors. We could not even walk this dog, he's a hound and was constantly dragging us around and shortly after we got him I was very nervous about what we had just gotten ourselves into. We obviously needed help and a few people recommended Behavioral Plus to us. From the first session with Sabino, we felt assured that this dog could be trained and we would be able to manage this. It would take work from us, but Sabino really took the time to help us understand not only Myles behaviors but more importantly how our behaviors can affect him in a negative way and help his progress. We learned a lot about this dog and that made the training and follow through so much easier. Myles bad behaviors really started to calm and he started to become the dog we knew we fell in love with. Although things were going wonderfully at that point, we had a setback, a new aggressive episode and I was scared. As soon as this happened, I called sabino. He and Frank were at my house within 30 minutes to assess our situation. They spent the time and collectively came up with a plan of action. At that point I was not sure if I could keep this dog, but they assured us if we did the work needed together it would resolve. We did what they said and after some time, they were right and that behavior was corrected. This dog is so well behaved now (not perfect:) but night and day from when we got him and we could not be happier that he's with us and now settled into a home he deserves. Not sure if that would be possible without Sabino and Frank and we could not be more thankful to them.

Love Behavior Plus and the training we've received! Our 16 month, 37 pound rescue was ruling the roost, having temper tantrums (refusing to walk when he decided he was done), running away, jumping and chewing on everyone, and pulling, walking back and forth on walks, etc. We figured it was just a matter of time before he hurt himself, someone else or us. We used their boot camp, which included Bernie being trained for 2 weeks. We would receive coaching when we dropped him off and picked him up, short video demos, and we've even had a couple of in home visits. I can't tell you what a difference this has made! Bernie loved going to boot camp every day, and his turn around has been just amazing. Thank you!

Behavioral Plus: A Life Changing Dog Training Experience! I have been working with the team for 5 months and the change I have seen in my French bulldog Brody is commendable. I don't know where I would be without Behavior Plus. Frank the owner, his commitment to animal welfare is truly remarkable. Jack is amazing!!!!! I was at my wits end with my very reactive pup Kingsley. When he first met Kingsley, he definitely tried to give Jack a run for his money and Jack demonstrated why he is such a great trainer. He was so patient and understanding to Kingsley’s needs. I am more confident in my ability to handle any situation with my pup that may come our way. My baby couldn’t even see another dog without losing his mind and now look at him sitting next to his GF Dottie. Our last 2nd to last class with Jack bought tears to my eyes and I’m so grateful! This is most definitely still a journey with Kingsley and I look forward to working with Behavior Plus for more of Kingsley’s growth.
