Sierra is kind, honest and a really great trainer. It is evident that she loves dogs and truly loves training. She goes above and beyond for her clients. We started with 2 rambunctious Great Danes and a aggressive Boston Terrier. Sierra worked with us week after week on basic training and building confidence for both the dogs and humans. Our home life with our dogs improved almost immediately. Although our sessions are over she is still my go to for all things dog!

Sierra is an amazing dog trainer! I would hire her again and again if she were still in the Bay Area. We got our first dog, Rambo (an English lab), during the pandemic and needed help training him to be a well-behaved dog. As a puppy, Rambo would bark incessantly whenever he wanted something. Like most puppies, he had no impulse control and would do whatever the heck he wanted to. Very cute as an 8 pound puppy, but not so cute if he were full-grown. We purchased 5 in-home sessions with Sierra and she taught us how to create a structured schedule and training plan for Rambo. Basically she trained us on how to be better dog owners. Within a week, Rambo learned basic commands like sit, place, and down. After a few weeks Rambo had enough impulse control to hold a down while I walked a hundred feet away. Sierra helped us train Rambo to reach his full potential. She customized the way we should handle Rambo given his crazy playful personality. Through the sessions with Sierra, we also learned that dog training isn’t a one time thing. We’ve been working with Rambo on a daily basis (which he loves—he gets super amped up when we say “Rambo wanna do training??”) and he has a more fulfilling life because of it.

Sierra is an expert teacher to both dogs and probably even more importantly, to their people. We tried many dog trainers before finding Sierra, who is about as legit a trainer as anyone could find. She should probably have her own TV Show. Sierra has really mastered the art of dog language, and it shows. Dog training is what she was born to do, and it is a beautiful thing to watch Sierra do her thing. We have a difficult dog. And I mean, really difficult dog. Our dog used to nip people, lunge, bark like a crazy lady, and it pretty much limited her life because we couldn’t take her anywhere without a sad muzzle. It ain’t her fault, we really didn’t know what we were doing until we paired up with Sierra. After a few weeks of training with Sierra, who also hosted Bodie for 3 weeks in her home for an intensive dog training boot camp, Bodie came back a new girl. Confident, obedient, calmer, responsive to human eye contact, and wanting to show us what a “good girl” she can be. Sierra communicated so lovingly, clearly and firmly. Bodie is a like a remote control dog. We learned so much about what our dog needs from working with Sierra. We couldn’t recommend her more, and we wouldn’t have entrusted our baby to anyone but her.
