Beastmaster Dog Training (BMK9)

We had the best experience with BMK9, and we highly recommend them to anyone. I initially contacted Garrett about 3 months ago, looking for help with my 1 year-old German Shepherd-pit mix, Teddy, who was reactive, distracted, and needed help with general manners. Our biggest issue was Teddy jumping up on everyone, and at 60 lbs he was starting to hurt people with how excitable he was. Garrett came to our house and did a thorough consultation. After 3-4 private lessons, Teddy was a new dog! Garrett showed us how smart and trainable our dog is, and we gained confidence as dog owners. I am SO proud of how much progress we have seen in our dog this year. If you're looking for help, just call BMK9.

I gave it a couple weeks to see if everything stuck. Max is a changed dog. Before BMK9 his comfort zone for not barking and lunging at anyone other than us, was about 10 feet. He now loves going to Atwood's and at most looks at some people, but mostly just looks at me and ignores everyone else. Wednesday we went and just as we headed to check out, about 30 other people jumped in line for the only casher, we were in the middle of the line. Even with everyone crowding around (one even closer than I was comfortable with) Max just happily waited in line and at most people watched a little. Two employees came up and gave him treats. No comparison to how he was before going "to camp". Also, Place, is amazing when anything is going on that I don't want him in the middle of. Very highly recommended.

I intentionally waited to make a review until we had finished our classes and spent some time on our own. Apollo was showing signs of being reactive at 4 months old and our vet referred us to BMK9. Garrett and Amanda are absolutely talented. Apollo was a new dog after ONE class. He’s still a pup, and a bit wild, but the foundation that they taught him and us (okay mostly taught us) are critical. He is so much more behaved, and we know how to handle his nerves and anxiety and keep him neutral! So thankful for this place!!!

Garrett and Amanda are truly amazing people and they truly care for the dogs they help. We had a very serious situation with our fur baby. We were turned away by every other trainer in the norman area because of the issues we were having. But these folks listened to use and were up for the challenge. I highly recommend them to anyone needing help. I would fully trust them with any of our 4 legged kids and most importantly. They are just good people.
