Beachwood K9

Jenn was very communicative throughout the training process and exceeded my expectations! She was very attentive to my dog, and tailored the experience to ensure the results that I desired. My dog was never “bad”, but this training experience has helped him grow from good to great. There’s a noticeable change that I could not have accomplished on my own. I’m very comfortable with Beachwood K9 and look forward to recommending them to others!

My family and I are so thankful for Beachwood K9 and there is really no one else we’d trust more! Jenn has truly brought “calm” into our lives through the structured training she offers in her program. Before taking Stella to Beachwood K9 she was experiencing severe separation anxiety anytime we would leave her at home alone, which ultimately resulted in destruction of our house. Since Stella has come home from her 3-week board and train, everything has changed for the better! Stella not only is comfortable in her crate, allowing us to leave her in a safe place when we leave home, but she can also stay on “place” for hours at a time while we are able to do what we need to do around the house and not get up until we release her. Jenn also worked with Stella on and off-leash which has made going for walks much more enjoyable because she no longer pulls on walks, and she will respond to her off-leash commands giving me full faith that she would not run off! We now feel like we can take Stella anywhere! Not only did Jenn transform our lives with Stella, but she taught us how create balance in our home to reinforce the training that she has done with Stella and gave us all the tools to make sure she remains successful long term. Jenn truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and we could not thank her enough!

We feel so much trust in Beachwood K9 and would recommend them to anyone after sending our dog Ziggy there for the 3 week board and train. Jenn at Beachwood helped us learn how to bring structure and calmness into Ziggy’s life, ultimately allowing him to be much more compatible with our lifestyle. Before the training, Ziggy was chewing everything in our house, nipping at us, and escalating in energy until we didn’t know what to do with him. It was reaching a breaking point especially with us working from home and with a baby on the way - something had to change!! Since taking Ziggy to Beachwood, everything has changed for the better. When we need him to, he can stay on his bed (or “place”) for hours at a time, go in his crate, and generally responds well to commands. He also has completely stopped pulling on walks! We now feel like we can take him anywhere, host groups at our house, and bring a baby into our home. And best of all, we learned how to change our own behavior to make all of this happen and ensure his long-term success. And he is still as fun and playful as ever!! We could not be happier and with the added benefit of now being able to board Ziggy with Beachwood on an as-needed basis, it really was a no-brainer to do the board and train. Thank you Jenn!!!

We did a 2 week board and train with one of our rescue pups that is available for adoption for reactivity and ecoller training! Oliver learned the most important commands such as “sit” and “down” and how to relax in “place” which seem so basic but were extremely difficult for him before! He walks perfectly on leash now too! He is now less reactive around other dogs and the ecollar has been such a help with his training. Thank you so much Jennifer! We look forward to continuing working with you and our rescue pups.
