I can’t speak highly enough of this group. This was our third trainer and we were facing a terrible decision. We learned so much about how to work with my dog correctly and understand his genetics in a way that we could bring peace back into our home. Bethany says in every group class that they train people first, and it is so true. My dog will never be the dog that will be able to run free in the dog park, but I don’t have to be worried every time we leave our house now. The dog training part, I would rate 5/5, but the human training is a 10/5. Gina and Bethany helped me work through some emotional issues regarding my dogs and I am so grateful. They are amazing and I love this community. I have liked dogs more than people for a while, but maybe I can like people more because of them.

Be the Boss Dog Training has been the best thing to happen to our dogs. I was very skeptical that their program would work for our unruly girls, but I’m a believer! Gina is the absolute best and I’m so appreciative of how she listens to your needs/concerns and makes sure you’re set up for success! I highly recommend them!

I can not say how thrilled I am with Be the Boss training. We started with the free pack walks for about a month and loves how kind, patient and helpful they were with tips on getting our puppy to walk nicely beside us on a leash. We decided if we were gonna keep our at the time four month old puppy then we had to teach him some manners and decided to sign on with Bethany and her trainers. They were not the least expensive dog trainer in the area but you get what you pay for In our experience was well worth the money and invaluable.Our trainer came out to our house once a month and worked with our entire family on building a relationship with the dog. The twice a month group classes really helped me understand the owner and dog relationship and has made. I’m having a dog thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing. I would give Bethany and be the post dog training, hands down 10 stars. Highly highly recommend!

Loved working with this program as it has helped our dog become so obedient and well behaved. We could tell how much it helped our with the first week of training, once the trainers explained how our dogs minds work and why they were behaving the way they were it made everything click and made training our dog fun instead of dreadful. 100% recommend to anyone needing dog training!

When I got my dog from the shelter he was hyper, uncontrollable and didn’t/wouldn’t follow any directions. I chose Be the dog Trainer because it was more than teaching the dog to obey. It was teaching my family how to be better dog owners. They taught us about dog psychology, and how to respond to the dogs emotions with leadership instead of dominance. The program is about building a strong relationship of trust with the dog. My dog is better not because he knows I am the boss, but because he recognizes my confidence and leadership in our relationship. In return builds his confidence. Plus I love the pack walks! And I love the group classes!
