BCL Dog Training

Kristin worked with my mali mix, Bobby, for 10 sessions. He was about 9 months old and quite a handful for me. He had some insecurities and also needed basic obedience training. Kristin was able to help him overcome his fear issues. And Bobby really responds to basic commands. Kristin gave us "homework" assignments. That really enhanced our training experience. I plan on doing more advanced training with Kristin in the future.

We have very high drive, working line, Shepards. Kristin very actively engaged with them and us to understand the behaviors we expected of them while at home and out. She is very keen on a rewards-based program, building that affection with the dogs, which worked well for us. She took them everywhere, BassPro, the park, on walks, and structured work/learning courses and we saw a huge difference in them just five weeks in. They are still working with her because we love that they get to “work” when they are with her, a big deal for dogs who need something to do. They are both very bonded to her and get very excited when they hear her truck. We even have new routines with them at home to reinforce what they are learning and how they behave. She is also very easy to connect with, flexible, and fully dedicated to what she does.

We have such a positive experience with Kristen training our dog, we have a Pitbull very sweet but very strong and playful, Kristen help us training her to walk with the leash and not pulling, she teach her all the basic commands and give us detailed instructions to follow between sessions to keep her training consistent. We absolutely recommend her to anybody looking for for obedience training, our dog was so relax around her, great experience, very please.
