About Bayshore Companion Dog Club
Bayshore Companion Dog Club (BCDC) was formed in 1950 as a New Jersey Not for Profit Corporation. We have been in existence and continuous operation since that time. Bayshore is one of the oldest AKC affiliated clubs in New Jersey. Sign up for our classes today and build a better relationship with your dog for a lifetime. All are welcome to register for classes! BCDC is not just a place to train our dogs: We are a community of animal lovers with many years of experience and volumes of knowledge that we love to share. I joined this dog club a few years ago and became a member as soon as I could because I wanted to be part of a great community of trainers and members. What stood out immediately was the wealth of experience everyone brings — many are dog professionals with years of hands-on work and training. Most trainers here are absolutely top-notch, the best you can ever get — like Barbara Wirkowski and Rene Shriver, just to name a few. The facility itself is also top-notch, providing everything needed for professional, competitive training. If you’re serious about training, there’s no other club like Bayshore in the area. It’s been an amazing environment to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded people who truly care about dogs and their well-being.
