We cannot recommend Bayou Canine Academy enough! While we were initially skeptical about seeing a real change in our dog, Teddy, the results have been nothing short of amazing. Will is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to ensure we were just as trained as our pup. He genuinely cares about the long-term success of the dogs, focusing on making sure obedience sticks once you're back home. Teddy is a joy to be around now—we are so grateful!

We recently completed a 3 & 1/2 week board and train session with Bayou Canine Academy and are happy with the results. Our guy already knew basic obedience, so our goals were more behavior-focused (fence barking, general insecurity, and inability to settle outside his crate). Will is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the behaviors, along with his training strategies, so we could better understand what was happening and how to handle them at home. Since coming home, he is calmer, settling on a place bed both inside and outside, and his obedience is sharper and more consistent (especially his heel). As for fence barking, we’ve been able to interrupt and redirect this behavior more quickly in the few situations we’ve encountered so far. And bonus, he no longer marks every fence post he comes to. :) We also appreciate the continued support through available follow-up sessions and plan to use them as needed to maintain and continue our progress.
We have had the most amazing experience with Bayou Canine Academy. We did the board and train program with Baylie. And the result has been a “night and day” difference in his behavior. Both on and off leash now, Baylie is so well behaved and focused. We highly recommend this training to anyone who needs help in training your fur baby. The result will definitely speak for itself.
We had an amazing experience with Bayou Canine Academy. What began as a simple boarding stay for two of our dogs turned into a month-long training program that completely transformed our rescue. She came back like a brand-new dog! We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done—cannot recommend them enough. Pozzi is now a wonderful, well-mannered member of society thanks to their incredible work!
