Barnyard kennels is the best! We love knowing our favorite buddy is being loved and cared for by them while we travel! Abbi takes the time to send us videos of him while we are gone which we love! So hard to leave your pet but at Barnyard we are always satisfied! Highly highly recommend!

Very immature to get blocked from Facebook after her asking for our 10th month old puppy to not come back until it has been trained or trained by her, who doesn’t even has credentials. We also had additional issues with our other lab getting cut on something on her property and she never seen it, we noticed it when we got home and cost us a large amount of money. For someone that pays attention to so much, and wants a dogs that are “well behaved”, she doesn’t pay attention to it herself if our dog gets hurts days before it was picked up and she never noticed

Your wife left me a review already and I explained what actually happened. I took very good care of your dogs, even when one of them was so overstimulated he couldn’t control himself. As I said to her, we discussed Sampsons accident and I gave you free boarding for his accident. You and I discussed that and all seemed to be ok. You brought him back numerous times. I tried to take your puppy twice and told you the first time he was not handling it well. I still hope you find the kennel that suits you best since you chose not to get training by me or elsewhere and canceled the rest of your stays. The reason you were blocked on Facebook is because there was no reason for us to have any future contact after you picked up your dogs months ago and said you wouldn’t be back. Wish you all well.

I definitely recommend Abbi for training. Cookie went through the 6 week training course and although she was part of a group class elsewhere, Cookie responded better to Abbi’s training. Abbi came to our house for some of the training and could see how Cookie acted at home. I can now walk Cookie on her gentle leader without her pulling, whereas before, I had tried and failed with multiple different types of collars/harnesses. I continue to work with Cookie at home now that she’s done with her 6 weeks, but I am impressed with the amount of progress Cookie has made.

Barnyard Kennels is the best place for our dogs while we are away! They love it there and I never worry about the care they receive. I get photos and videos of them daily and I appreciate everything about Barnyard Kennels! Personal, friendly, committed!

She acted like she never seen it. I then gave her a second chance but she ended up kicking out my yellow lab puppy. Treated me like I didnt know how to raise a puppy. She was very disrespectful. When I said to cancel the rest of our boarding dates, she blocked us on social media and handled it in a very immature manner. Do yourself a favor and take your dogs to a different boarding place :)

It’s unfortunate you feel this way. After giving you free boarding for what happened to Sampson to cover the vet bills and discussing that with your husband, I believed that was all settled as Sampson was here quite a few times after that and was fine. That happened over a year ago and you still brought him back even this spring. You came back 2 more times this spring with a 10 month old lab that jumped higher than my kennels and knocked me over, and continuously bothered other dogs, not listening to there cues or mine. He had no manners and I offered advice and to help with training, you’re response was he’s just a puppy. Sorry, puppy or not at that size and 10 months he should have responded and not been a potential danger to myself, himself and other dogs. You were not kicked out, you were given options of training with me or elsewhere before he could come back. My heart broken I wouldn’t see Sampson again after him staying here numerous times but I run a family environment kennel that your yellow lab was not fit to be in. I truly wish you the best in finding the kennel that works for you.
