I was very hesitant with sending my dog to a board and train 3 hours away from home. The team at Barks and Recreation eased my mind immediately after our first phone conversation! My Adopted Irish Setter was a major runner and didn’t have many manners. I knew we personally couldn’t correct it on our own so with a recommendation from one of my patients I reached out to Barks and Recreation. We dropped Red off for 2 weeks and he learned so much. He comes when he is called now! Thank goodness! He knows all of his commands and we work with him daily to keep up on his training. Red is a dog with an autoimmune issue and while he was at training he had a flare up. Jen and the Team were amazing. They called right away we reached out to Red’s Vet and got him back on his meds for the flare up and Jen even made him burger and Rice to help his tummy. Do not hesitate to send your best friend to the team at Barks and Recreation they will do a fantastic job!
