Bark Tutor School for Dogs

We absolutely love Bark Tutor! Our 8-year-old Shetland Sheepdog, Madison, goes to daycare every Friday, and she loves it. We first started with Bark Tutor when Madison was a puppy and went through training with them. She did great and loved the experience. Since then, we’ve continued taking her to daycare every Friday so she can socialize with other dogs. It has made a huge difference in how she reacts to other dogs outside of daycare. She always comes home happy and tired! Being a herding dog, Madison also developed a habit of trying to herd delivery people at our house—which we found much cuter than the delivery people did! Kala came to our home and gave us great guidance on how to correct the behavior, and it was extremely helpful. The entire staff has always been professional, kind, and caring. We never have to worry about Madison when she’s there because we know she’s being well cared for. And, of course, we love the daily “Report Card” with pictures of Madison and all her adventures from the day! We really can’t say enough good things about Bark Tutor. They’ve been a wonderful part of Madison’s life from puppyhood to now, and we highly recommend them! I can also make this a little shorter and more casual, which often reads especially well as a Google review.

In early May I adopted a 5-6 month old rescue Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. By mid-May I was mentally exhausted and frustrated trying to assimilate this pup into our home. Letting her out was akin to a bull in a china shop. I sought help from many places but Bark Tutor got back to me in the quickest and most professional manner. I immediately signed up for their three week puppy training program with the vague hope that my new pup would be able to just listen and relax at home. I was blown away by the results and the process. The pick up / drop off nature of the program was amazing for a busy schedule. The associates at bark tutor always kind, courteous, and flexible. The training staff, in particular, Madison are truly wonderful at their jobs and it is evident that they truly care for the success of all the clients. I really appreciate that Madison didn’t just help Hali (pup) grow into a much more obedient and relaxed dog, but myself into a more knowledgeable and confident trainer. I know that I can always look back at the training we have done and will continue to do as the foundation of a wonderful bond that will last many years. The report cards on a daily basis always made me smile and were helpful for measuring progress. Overall my experience was perfect and I couldn’t recommend Bark Tutor enough. Well worth the money from my perspective. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Daisy had a great experience at Bark Tutor! She worked on skills everyday and was so proud to show us what she learned. One of the best things was that my kids participated in the weekly trainings. This has helped Daisy respect them more, and gave them confidence to know how to train her. We are so lucky that we found them. Her main trainer was AMAZING. Daisy responded very well to her and she was very helpful if I mentioned any issues to that I was having with Daisy at home. This program was worth every penny!

We took our puppy, Zona, to Bark Tutor for 3 week puppy school and were so impressed! The instructors truly care that the owners understand the training fully so it sticks at home. Their portal is so thorough and we loved the updates + photos throughout her time. You can tell they really care about the level of service they provide, and each dog that comes into their care. She learned so much during her puppy school and we saw immediate results. We hope to take Zona back for daycare!
