We brought our dog for a second board and train.. for e-collar training and wow.. not only did Evina and Breton help his foundation, they completely finished him. I feel like I can take my dog ANYWHERE. And his eyes are always on us. They care for the animals so much! You can tell in the way they train, care, and interact on a daily basis. They are family and my dog’s favorite place to go! He adores them both. Highly suggest. No one else I’d trust this much!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. This is my first time owning a working dog, and from day one she has been incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She takes the time to explain everything not just what to do, but why you’re doing it. She breaks down the science behind dog behavior, training methods, and structure in a way that actually makes sense, and it’s clear that every decision she makes is thoughtful and intentional. We started working with her when my German Shepherd was still a puppy. We already have a reactive dog, so it was really important to us to make sure he didn’t develop the same issues. She didn’t just teach us commands, she taught us how dogs think and how to set our dog up for long-term success. At a point when he was honestly becoming a lot for us to handle, she stepped in and completely changed the trajectory for him and for us. We also did a week-long board-and-train, which was incredibly hard for me as an owner, but she treated him like family. I never once felt like he was “just another dog.” The bond he has with her says everything. Every time we show up, he absolutely lights up and is so excited to see her. That alone tells me I made the right choice. She goes above and beyond in every way, whether that’s accommodating things I’m not able to do, checking in, or making sure I feel confident and supported as an owner. She truly treats her clients like friends and family, and she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. This is the kind of trainer you stay with for life. I will bring all of my future dogs to her without hesitation, and I’m so excited to continue working with her and see what the future holds. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, knows what they’re doing, and puts their whole heart into their work, this is the place.

I can’t say enough good things about Evina and Breton at BarkitK9. I brought them my 2-year-old Boxer, Kiki, who was honestly a nightmare at home . constant barking, destroying everything, completely out of control. I had tried everything before and was starting to lose hope. After her 8-week stay-and-train program and just a few follow-up sessions, the change was unbelievable. Evina and Breton not only trained Kiki ,they taught us how to communicate and understand each other. Now she’s calm, focused, and finally a joy to have at home.
