Bark & Disco

My girlfriend and I adopted our first dog together, and as adults, at the beginning of the year. As our dog, Eevie, adjusted to our home and her new environment it seemed as though we were in over our heads. That is until we met Kate and she began to help us with training Eevie. Kate's flexibility with schedule, as well as coming to our home, was such a blessing as our journey alongside Eevie began. With Kate's help we were able to identity what snags we had in our day to day, such as not having enough stimulating toys/activities for our new dog - which was leading to some destructive behaviors. Patient as ever with both us and Eevie, Kate created action plans and provided resources to help foster a more engaging home. I can't imagine where we would be if we hadn't worked alongside Kate, but it would probably being closer to being hot messes than competent pet parents. Hats off to Kate for giving us that confidence.

We absolutely loved working with Kate! She helped us work with our dogs, focusing on barking and the command place. Sometimes trainers and dog people in general can be judgey and pretentious. Kate is neither of those things. She's there to help while also allowing your dog to still be a dog. She doesn't make you feel bad about your dog's behavior. Everything about her training is approachable and easy. I cannot recommend her enough!

I “interviewed” with three different trainers before deciding to work with Kate and I’ve never been happier with my choice & with her ability to help me! I have a 5 yr old dog that has decent behavior but needed some work on reactivity and aggression (post a few traumatic experiences). Kate has helped me see first hand that you absolutely can train an old dog new habits. I’ve been able to benefit from both virtual and in person sessions - she gives the same knowledge and expertise in both. We still have a bit of work to do but Kate has helped us make a lot of progress. Id 100% recommend Bark & Disco!
