Dianne and John did a fantastic job training my two Maltese/Yorkie pups. Absolutely love how caring they are and humane they are with handling the pups teaching me to speak dog and completely resolving almost all of my problems in the first lesson. After a few additional lessons, we were 100% in great shape and I love the fact it’s a lifetime service that I can call on them anytime included in the price. I highly recommend these guys to anybody looking to rehabilitate their dog whether it’s just basic Puppy Training or severe behavioral issues.

We’ve had a great experience with Diane and John from Bark Busters Lake Norman so far. After two sessions with our 6 year old pit mix, Bosa, his improvement, especially on walks, has been amazing. He’s gone from barking and lunging to walking calmly and even sitting patiently, which never would have happened a few weeks ago. At the vet, he was able to relax in the lobby instead of pulling pacing and jumping, which was a huge win for me. We’re still working on other skills, but his progress with walking and overall reactivity has been a noticeable and encouraging change. So grateful for them and their help!

I can’t say enough good things about Diane and John. From my initial outreach, Diane responded quickly and thoroughly, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. We were able to schedule our first appointment within a week, and they have been very flexible with scheduling our sessions. What truly stands is their ongoing support. Training doesn’t end when the session is over, and they clearly understand that. My text messages are typically returned the same day (often within hours), and they are happy to clarify next steps or provide additional resources. They check in proactively, celebrate our progress, and offer reassurance when things feel challenging. Their communication style is professional yet warm, making it easy to be honest about struggles without feeling judged. They truly feel like part of the family (Aunt Diane and Uncle John!). That level of accessibility and encouragement makes a huge difference in our confidence and consistency at home. Diane and John are helping our puppy coexist with our 12-year-old Shih Tzu. We are very hopeful that, in due time, they will be playing together. We recently adopted a 4 month old puppy named Sasha. We were looking for training and Diane and John came highly recommended by others that had used them for their pets. We love their approach and it has been very effective with Sasha even after just a few weeks. They are great at helping with ANY questions that come up anytime and with a puppy questions come up a lot.
