Diane and John have been amazing with our dog Ralphie. He's a 2 year old tripod who spent more than half his life in a shelter. He's a lovable dog, but we struggled with obedience and leash reactivity. When we would go on walks, we would have to RUN the opposite direction if we saw another dog. He pulled on the leash and was almost impossible to control. We had given up on ever being able to go on normal walks or take him in public. After only 3 training sessions, we have seen amazing progress with Ralphie. They offer "corrections" to fix his behavior and show him that it's wrong. He has learned so much in a short time. He is still a work in progress, but we are amazed. After our 3rd visit and with their techniques, we were able to get him to sit and ignore the other dog entirely while out on a walk. It was night and day difference from our walk the day previously. And since then, we've been able to enjoy evening walks rather than being on edge the whole time. This has been the best investment we could have made in both Ralphie and our lives!

We turned to John and Diane when our pup would not stop barking the entire time that we were away from our apartment. We didn't want to be known as "those neighbors with the annoying dog" so we did some research and found Bark Busters. After just one session with them, our dog was much more calm when we left. We were consistent with the strategies they gave us and now, he only barks periodically while we are gone. I would absolutely recommend Bark Busters for those with a dog suffering from separation anxiety.
After the first lesson, my puppy was sitting, staying, and staying until freed from the command. I was very impressed.

Diane and John were lovely and very knowledgeable about dogs. They helped our German Shepherd, Arya, with many things in just the first session. Of course she’s still learning, but we have the tools now to really make it all work with practice and patience. One huge deal was her walking on a leash. Before today she was absolutely horrible on the leash, so she would rarely go on walks or none at all. She would pull, jump, bark and just act wild when we tried to walk her. It was heartbreaking. But, our prayers were answered today when we met with Diane and John and were taught a few tricks. Now she is only on her second trained walk today (One with our trainers and one without) and doing 100% better! We are looking forward to working with Diane and John to help Arya get better every day.
