Our Trainer JD, is amazing! Several years ago my wife and I purchased training from the previous Bark Busters trainer in our area and our experience was less than stellar. We quickly fell out of contact with her and our dog's training went by the wayside. Luckily, since then the former trainer retired and JD (by way of Justin) took over her clients and our area. JD is awesome. You can tell he has a genuine love for dogs and will go to any lengths to help them live their best lives. He quickly identified the areas where our dog was struggling and trained us thoroughly on how to address them and correct them as needed. After one session, I've seen more progress with our dog than I had at any point with our previous trainer. Honestly, I would never have recommended the previous trainer, but since we had such a good experience with JD, I couldn't recommend him enough. JD has been a lifesaver! I have had my dog Dexter for the last 5 years and to say he is a handful is an understatement. He would bark, lunge, and go crazy at any person, dog, bicycle that we came across on walks. We couldn't even have guests in our home without Dexter flipping out and trying to attack them. JD taught us what a leader is supposed to look and act like from the very first session we had with him. It took us a few sessions (which were very easy to schedule by the way) with him to get Dexter dialed in and allow him to be the happy and calm dog he was meant to be. With our new skills I feel very comfortable taking Dexter with us anywhere knowing he is focused on us, and us only. I would recommend Barkbusters and more importantly JD to any and everyone I know struggling with behavioral issues with their dog.

Working with Justin has been life changing! It's been 6 years since I started working with him and because of our training, I have this incredible bond with my well behaved pup. I adopted my pup from the shelter, and he surprised me with severe leash aggression. It was so uncomfortable to take him on walks. He would snarl and lunge at anyone/anything nearby when he saw other dogs on walks and nothing could snap him out of it. So I immediately reached out to Justin after seeing all his promising reviews. Justin's training is based off the Bark Busters philosophy (no e-collar, no prong collar). From my personal experience, trust me when I say not all Bark Busters trainers are the same. But Justin is truly an exceptional trainer who cares about his clients (pups and humans) succeeding!! He's a great teacher, professional, easy to reach and easy to schedule sessions with. The lifetime training is so worth it. To be honest, my 1st session with Justin was so effective that I've only scheduled a few additional in-person sessions. Which by the way, scheduling sessions is super easy and quick to happen. Over the years I've relocated and Justin has always been available by phone or video whenever I need advice. I recently scheduled an in-person "refresher" session and flew with my pup to San Diego, because the training is worth it! Reflecting over the years- I'm so grateful I've been able to bring my pup with me everywhere! My once reactive pup transformed into a calm, sweet, well-behaved pup that I can take to public places, restaurants, travel, etc. Working with Justin has been wonderful. Thank you Justin!!

I definitely recommend Justin for anyone that needs help with their doggie. I was struggling so much because my dog started to chew on everything (even the walls and floors, I don’t know how but he did it ) and so I couldn’t do anything without having to watch him all the time while being home . I literally could not shower or get ready in my room because he would be biting something so I always had to tie him somewhere where I knew he couldn’t bite. He had also started to not want to walk wherever I was going and was pretty stubborn about it so it would take long for those walks to happen. Not to mention whenever we walked he would always bark at people and dogs so it was hard to go on walks with him. OBVIOUSLY every dog is different and might take more training than it did with my doggie but I was honestly say that just after the first training that we had with Justin we saw a HUGE change on my doggie. I’m finally able to shower and do the things I need to do without worrying about him or having to have him tied to something so he doesn’t bite. He doesn’t bite the couch anymore which was something I really needed him to stop doing so we could get a new one. You definitely have to be consistent with the training at home to have better results . Overall we are super happy to have Justin help us, he is a great trainer so if you see any bad reviews don’t listen to those people !!

We adopted Mars from the shelter 3 months ago, unfortunately Mars started to become very aggressive and on a walk he had bit a person. I remember the feeling of hopelessness that we would have to give him back when Mars had already left his paw print on our hearts. He had a rough start before adopting him, and I couldn't find it in us to give up on him. So we had read reviews and booked an appointment with Justin right away, Justin has truly restored our hope in giving Mars the life he deserves. Before Justin we were confined at home in the fear of Mars chewing something up from his separation anxiety. Now we can leave Mars home and come home to nothing being chewed up, Mars also can now go on walks without pulling me to exhaustion or trying to attack a person. Justin has continued to give us the tools to correct Mars and let the world see the dog who we fell in love with, to show he's just a sweet boy who misunderstood and needed the right guidance. Justin has given us that guidance for Mars and us, I highly recommend Justin he will restore your confidence, faith, and hope that you will get through this and be able to have your fur baby safe and sound.
