Bark & Birch

We took our 2 dogs to Lauren and she was amazing with them! One of our dogs did a 4 week rehabilitation with her and the other did a 3 week custom program. She made sure they were both comfortable. It’s amazing what she can do in what seems like such a short time. We couldn’t even let our dogs in our backyard alone because of how bad they were fence fighting. They can now run freely in their own space. Lauren was so sweet through the whole process and sent pictures or videos daily. Highly recommend if you’re looking to have your furry one trained!! I placed my dog into board and train for a variety of issues- leash pulling, inconsistent obedience with commands- to name a few. My puppy is quite stubborn and has a big personality, but through her work with Kristi Mallett, I am shocked by her new abilities and skills. Kristi updated me daily over the two weeks, and thoroughly explained every technique she was using with my dog. Kristi clearly loves animals and is an expert at managing difficult dog behaviors. At the end of the two weeks, Kristi spent an afternoon with me and my dog, teaching me the techniques to maintain my dog’s new behavior. I am incredibly thankful to Kristi for keeping my pup safe and healthy, while creating a whole new communication style between me and my dog. She knows so much about dogs, how they think, what motivates them, etc. and her knowledge is invaluable. If you are able to request Kristi, I can’t recommend her enough.

My dog Hugo just completed a 2 week basics obedience board and train with Anthony in LA and honestly I cannot believe how Hugo has come back, it’s like having a totally different dog. He listens to every command I give and isn’t chewing everything on site! I cannot thank Bark & Birch enough for the excellent services I would definitely recommend back in Birch I can’t wait for them to open a daycare in LA!

I was a dog handler and know how much work and especially patience goes into K-9 training. I also know that being a handler, I know very little about the actual methods that go into achieving the incredible results I saw in my GSD Jake. Jake came home after two weeks with his Bark and Birch trainer Tony and demonstrated complete obedience. The fact that Tony was able to get Jake to the level of performance he was demonstrating is nothing short of amazing. The training at Bark and Birch is second to none. One of things I truly appreciated was the communication from Tony on a DAILY basis. I was kept up to speed on every aspect of Jake's training including photos and videos. Another thing I am impressed with is the level of maturity jake is demonstrating. It is far from his 13 weeks. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that knowing something about K-9s, I would not and will not trust anyone but Bark a d Birch to train Jake. I will be going back to this company again for Jake's protection training. You can't go wrong with Bark and Birch.
