Dawn Barer has been working with me and my greyhound, Maynard, to reduce Maynard's aggression with other dogs. Maynard bit three dogs making me extremely uncomfortable every time we encountered another dog during our walks. Dawn came to my house for the introductory meeting and we followed up with mini sessions in Howard-Tietan Park working with a stuffed dog and her standard poodle. Maynard is increasingly more comfortable with each training and that eases my stress. Dawn seems very good working with dogs and is encouraging which helps Maynard AND me.

Dawn has been absolutely amazing to work with. She has been patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our schedule. After the starting consultation, we were provided with so many resources on how to handle our fear aggressive dog. We have been doing the mini sessions for a few months, and seeing my dog grow in confidence has been amazing. Dawn knows the balance in keeping your dog safe, managing their stress, but being able to slowly push them into new scenarios to build their confidence. I never thought I would be able to walk my dog downtown without fear, but our dog has been showing amazing improvements with each mini session.
