We’re so sorry to hear your pup came down with kennel cough after his stay. We understand how frustrating and stressful it can be to care for a sick pet, and we truly hope he's feeling better soon.<br><br>Over the past few weeks, there has been a widespread increase in cases of Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex (CIRDC) throughout our broader community—including parks, veterinary clinics, grooming salons, dog-friendly businesses, and yes, boarding and daycare facilities. This uptick was first reported to us by local veterinarians, and in response, we immediately activated our outbreak protocol to reduce risk of further spread.<br><br>Once we were informed by a regular client that their dog had been exposed and may have exposed others here, we took swift and transparent action: contacting all recent and upcoming clients via text and email, posting signage at the facility, and continuing to openly communicate with every family affected.<br><br>We want to be clear—we are not the origin of this outbreak, but one of many locations in the region impacted by it. We’ve taken every possible step to stay ahead of it. Our cleaning and biosecurity protocols are reviewed and affirmed by multiple veterinarians as being aligned with current industry and public health standards. While no communal environment can fully prevent the spread of airborne illnesses, we are committed to transparency, responsibility, and doing our part within the greater pet care community.<br><br>We regret that our communication felt dismissive in any way, as that was never our intention.
