Amanda has done a fantastic job not only training our dogs but our family as well! She is very accommodating with schedules and so easy to work with. Our dogs are night and day compared to before and after training with their behavior in and out of the house, walking, and listening. I could not recommend her enough! Worth every penny for the hands on private and personalized training you receive over a long period of time.

Initially, my two Yorkie puppies exhibited behavioral issues, such as leash insubordination and a lack of kennel training, rendering them seemingly feral. However, after a 2 1/2-week boarding period with AMANDA, followed by continued training, they have evolved into well-behaved puppies that walk flawlessly on a leash, are comfortable in kennels, respond to recall, and interact cordially with other dogs, barking infrequently. They have made a complete 180-degree turn and are now an absolute pleasure to be around. I intend to continue training with AMANDA, with a focus on off-leash training at nine months old. I highly recommend AMANDA as a dog trainer.

We hired Amanda and Balanced Tails to train our 3 YO Bernadoodle Lucky over Christmas Break. Amanda was amazing w Lucky. She helped her work through a lot of her anxiety. She offered an additional 10 sessions with us after she was finished training with her. This was the amazing part. She makes it’s so easy to work with your dog. Each session she gives you something new to work with your dog on which keeps the training fun and not boring. I really enjoyed working with Amanda and my dog. She was also always encouraging we text her with any questions. She really cares about your success and the success of your dog too. My dog is much better behaved. We worked with her so she heels on a walk now, not barking like crazy when someone comes to the door and running to the door. Not jumping all over people super excited to meet them. Staying on her bed while we prepare and eat food. We also worked w her to be more calm walking around other dogs and also being in a store. Amanda offers continued training via group classes. Where we go to a store such as Home Depot or Murdoch’s and we walk our dogs through the store and continue to teach them new things. It’s good for socialization and also keeps the training fun as you have new things to work with your dog. Amanda sets you up with the tools you need for success with your dog. another thing we worked on was having my dog heel off leash and recall. So amazing. I am so glad that we are working with Amanda. It’s just been amazing to see all the things my dog can do and I am just so proud of my dog. It’s been very rewarding, keeps my household more calm, and keeps my dog safe as well. I truly feel that I have a more balanced dog because of Amanda. She is an excellent trainer. And she is so sweet. I loved the questions she asked when she first spoke with us. She is so good. Amanda was amazing with our two very challenging Karelian Bear puppies. They were displaying litter mate syndrome at 4 months old which made management very difficult despite our best efforts. From boarding and on site training Amanda was professional and accommodating with our schedule and goals. We are at the point we can enjoy our dogs and they behave when hiking, hunting, and any other activities we set to do with them as a family. Im very pleased and satisfied how things turned out.
