Balanced Paws K9 Training

Every Tuesday morning, I always look forward to seeing Lincoln, Ella, Megan and Erica bring their pack in for brunch. As a bartender for many years, I have never seen so many well behaved dogs on my patio. They all lay down so calm and quietly, and it’s a beautiful sight to see! My other guests are always so amazed and can’t help but take a picture of pups all spread out! Now for the humans who train them… They are the sweetest people I have ever met! So genuine, funny, full of light, and just LOVE their job! It’s always smiles every time I see them! You can tell Lincoln and his team are a family! I am very blessed to have met these amazing people!

I am adding to my original review to underscore how critical Megan's continued mentoring and care of my collie has been for over five years now. Of course Lincoln has been instrumental in ensuring success at every phase of this journey with my dog, but I wanted to single out Megan here. I have been fortunate enough that Megan has been able to board my dog for both short and longer stays. It is such a comfort to be able to go on trips, including out of the country, and to be absolutely confident that my dog is completely secure and well-cared for. Even more than that, to know that she is continuing to get training and guidance, besides play time. Thank you so much, Megan (and all the dedicated crew)! ***** ******** Lincoln and Megan are the reason I still have my collie girl because I had so many issues (partly due to my own lack of knowledge) when she was a younger dog a few years ago that I seriously thought of rehoming her. They provided me with the understanding, reassurance, and tools to work effectively with my collie and develop a solid relationship with her. My dog still goes to boot camp with them periodically as it is such a good environment for her to do pack walks, reinforce positive training lessons and good social behavior with other dogs. Not only Lincoln and Megan, but the staff at Balanced Paws are excellent, wonderful people. That includes Annette on the business side who is one of the most organized, friendly, and caring people I have ever met. I cannot recommend Balanced Paws too highly to any dog owner. Kudos to this fantastic business!

Today we had our first training with Megan and let me just say I am amazed. Just with 1 session of leash training on my Dane/Hound mix she’s already different. From when we walked in to me barely being able to control her,(literally stuff falling out of my hands) to me being able to fill paperwork out and her just sit next to me. Mind blown today for sure. Thank you so much Megan for taking on my wild girl!

Our experience with Balanced Paws K9 Training has been exceptional from the moment we met Megan. We adopted our Golden doodle at three years old, and he came with doodle-isms times ten —if you own a G-doodle, you know exactly what I mean! When we first got him, we could barely make it around the block; walks were complete and total chaos, especially if we passed another dog or a person. Fast forward to now: Kash goes on pack walks with 20 plus dogs --no problem. He's even gone to brunch with the Balanced Paws team, and we've been able to take him to brunch with us too —something we honestly couldn't have dreamed of before. The progress we see in him with every passing week is awesome, and the socialization and behavior classes have been incredibly informative and useful for us as G-doodle owners navigating all those classic quirks. Lincoln, Megan, and the entire team have made a huge difference for us, bringing patience, expertise, and genuine care to every session. I can't recommend Balanced Paws enough to anyone who wants to learn more about the psychology behind their dog's behavior, proper training and ultimately build a happier home for themselves and their beloved dog.

Our new pup, Pearl, a Scottish Border Collie, just completed her 5-week Obedience Class with Balanced Paws K9 Training, and we had such a great experience! Lincoln, Meagan, and Erica were wonderful to work with. What I especially appreciated was that they didn’t just train Pearl—they taught us as her parents the commands and techniques we need to continue her training at home. They helped us better understand how to keep Pearl calm, focused, and under control while still letting her be the happy puppy she is. Pearl learned so much during these five weeks, and so did we! The trainers were knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and always willing to answer our questions. We are so proud of Pearl and very thankful to Lincoln, Meagan, and Erica for giving us such a great foundation to continue her training. We highly recommend Balanced Paws K9 Training!
