Balanced Pack K9 Training

My husband and I tried *everything* to get our Labradoodle, Luna, to calm down enough to be able to take her on walks, and to the dog park, and other places, but she saw every person, dog, car, and truck, and even leaves, as an immediate threat. She would go from sweet to crazy at the drop of a hat, and taking her anywhere was so stressful we finally stopped trying until a good friend told us about Ren, and her incredible affinity with dogs. We’re so happy we found Ren and got her to help us. Our beloved Otis was very much in need of behavioral guidance and she provided it with clear, direct advice and training methods. Actually, in many ways, my wife and I needed the training as much as he did. Ren gave us the tools and insights we need to help him become a more obedient pet, and a happier one, too. We adopted a 3 year old, surrendered Saint Bernard who had not had any socialization or training, and had severe anxiety and dog reactivity issues. We worked with 2 different trainers who solely used positive reinforcement techniques, which helped a little but not enough with our big girl. After a year, I was at my breaking point. Nessie had pulled me off my feet and dragged me down the sidewalk, she lunged at a small child on the other side of the street because in the dim dusk light she thought it was a dog, I pulled my knee out twice when she dragged me down the street. Walks were stressful and I found myself angry at Nessie all the time. I was considering rehoming her. And then I started researching e-collar training and found Ren. In just 3 weeks, Nessie no longer reacts to other dogs. She heels and doesn't pull me down the street. She listens to commands and doesn't ignore me. Yesterday, I took her to a community event for the first time and she not only behaved herself perfectly with the other dogs and people, but while we ate she laid down, didn't beg us for food, and didn't try to climb up on the table. She is becoming the dog I was hoping for. I wish I would have started with Ren in the first place, I regret listening to all those naysayers about e-collar training. It works! And we are all much happier with each other as a result. I can't recommend Ren enough!

Ren is amazing! Ren had our dog for the two week board and train program and the pup that came out of the program was a totally different dog - calmer, no pulling, focused on us, and more. Even more importantly, Ren trained and taught us what we needed to be doing and why, her instructions helped us be the owners our dog needed and I use her teachings every day! We are very active outdoors and wanted to be able have a mutual trust that our dog wouldn’t run off and would be safe in outdoor spaces where he’s permitted to be off leash. Because of Ren, shrimp gets to enjoy a life of freedom camping, fishing, and hiking! Can you believe that we can fly fish and he will watch from the bank?
