Balanced K9 Training

I recently had my 12-month-old Golden Retriever, Cedar, complete Josh's Board & Train program at Balanced K9, and I couldn't be happier with the results. When Cedar came home, she had a solid understanding of her new e-collar and a whole new level of respect for commands. One of the biggest changes is that she no longer needs to be on a tie-out and can enjoy much more freedom while still remaining responsive and under control. I've noticed that Cedar is much more focused on me, listens better, and responds consistently to commands, even with distractions around. Josh did a great job not only training Cedar but also helping me understand how to continue working with her at home. The improvement in her behavior and obedience has been remarkable, and I would highly recommend Josh and Balanced K9 to anyone looking for professional, effective dog training.

Highly recommend Josh and Balanced K9 Training! His technique allows you to build upon the basics each week with tailored plan for your dog’s needs. My favorite thing is that Josh focused on teaching us (the owners), explained the “why” behind the trainings, pointed out what and how we could be doing better, and he held us accountable with weekly homework. It was just as much about us as owners as it was about getting our pup to hit his goals. This helped build our confidence and deepened our relationship with our dog.
