FirstBarkBalanced K9 academy is a top notch facility. The staff is caring and friendly. The training is thorough and they don't sell you pipe dreams and false promises. You have to do the work... but it is so worth the investment of both money and time. My border collie and I have a new relationship with much less stress and worry than before. I highly recommend !!!

One week day training for my south African mastiff, Bert. Prior to training, I used a prong collar and prayer to keep him from dragging me off my feet. My 120 pound dog was scared of people, loud noise, and anything unfamiliar. It was a battle to get Bert in the door the first day! Nick and the trainers at Balanced K9 worked on control, confidence, and attention. Every day I saw improvement. Nick, Becca, and Heather were all patient with my questions and did not make me feel inadequate or ignorant. And they didn’t rush me out the door at drop off or at pick up. Today, using the tools and guidance Nick provided, I feel like I am in control of my dog and not just holding the leash and hanging on for dear life. Bert is truly a more balanced boy, at home and while we are out. If you want a healthier dog, and a better relationship with your pup, I 100% recommend Balanced K9 Academy.

We highly recommend Balanced K9 Academy! Becca and the rest of the staff are top notch. Our dog is a stubborn coonhound mix rescue that was a handful and our frustration with her was growing. Becca did a great job of working with her and then equipping us to continue that work. We have seen great results in a short amount of time since she has been home and we couldn’t be happier! Truly worth the cost to have the tools to continue integrating our dog into our farm and family!
