Balanced Breakthroughs Dog Training

Courtenay and Daija were so good to my adopted dog, Archie. Archie had been struggling with deep anxiety and was growling at strangers out of feer when I adopted him. I had tried my best to help him but shortly after getting him, I needed to move for work. Courtenay met with me to set up a training plan for him and he went to stay with her for 4 weeks during my transition. I always knew Archie was capable of so much, but I was blown away with the growth that Courtenay and Daija were able to foster. Archie can now go into stores with loud noises and children running around and not get scared and growl or bark at people. He instead defers his decision about what to do unto me and let's me handle it for him. We can also go on walks and be passed by people without him freaking out and melting down. He can now enjoy an much more fulfilling life because of what Courtenay and Daija were able to do for him. So very thankful for their work!!

Courtenay of Balanced Breakthroughs Dog Training was fabulous with our Irish doodle Molly who is 8.5 years old. Molly would pull on leash and bark fiercely and nonstop when anyone came to the door. She would run away if she got outside of the fence. After a month with Courtenay, we have a wonderful, well-trained dog. She is calmer, walks at heel (without pulling), and doesn’t bark when someone comes to the door. She even walks off-leash and doesn’t even try to run off. Courtenay not only spent loads of time with Molly, she also worked with us to make sure we understood how to provide the leadership and direction Molly requires. We highly recommend Courtenay for training your dog - she’s wonderful!
