Bakers Acres K9 Academy

Sara with Bakers Acres has been amazing! 6 months ago I would not have been able to walk through the farmers market with my dog without him reacting to every dog he saw, the other day we went and he did not react to a single dog! The monthly pack walks have really helped him get exposure to dogs in a very controlled setting. Using the right tools for him have been very beneficial to both of us, we will continue with the monthly pack walks, and keep up on the training!

UPDATE(03/29/2025): Sara has been everything we could have ever wanted from a trainer! Our dog’s behavior has improved immensely and we get compliments from our families and friends about how well behaved they are now! Here are my favorite things about Baker’s Acres: 1. She has a google classroom where you can learn at your own pace. It’s extremely organized with documents and corresponding videos that show you how to do what she teaches. This has been a great resource for us! 2. She has many avenues for communication with other clients. This is great, because when we started this training I felt like we were alone in our feelings of failure as a dog owner. It’s great to talk to people going through the same thing as you! 3. She hosts biweekly group class (part of package), where you can actually take your dog, and you learn EVEN more. Every time we go to group class, we leave better, and our dogs leave better too! 4. She hosts monthly pack walks where again, you take your dog and walk in a group. Learning and continuing to train your dog with issues that may come up as you walk your furry friend(s)! 5. Last, but certainly not least, my favorite thing about Baker’s Acres is SARA. She is so kind, loving, funny, and such a sweetheart. She is SO passionate about dogs and it shines through with each lesson she teaches. We didn’t just gain a trainer when we signed up with Baker’s Acres, but we gained a new friend. We HIGHLY recommend Baker’s Acres for anyone that owns a dog, no matter which part of your journey you’re on. It has been such an incredible experience for us, and we cannot wait to continue our journey with the Baker’s Acres Pack! Original Review: We have pit bulls (Ruger and Remii), and from the first call with Sara we knew she was the right trainer for us! She asked so many questions to understand not only our dogs, but us as well. Our first training session was last week, and we are thoroughly impressed with her. She introduced herself to both of us, and was so kind and loving towards our dogs. Her passion for training is palpable. We love that her program is designed to train the dogs, but that it holds us - as the owners - accountable. We also love all of the tools and resources that Sara has to train with. We can see that she is not just out here training dogs, but she’s passionate about creating a community for all of us, that we can be a part of as long as we want. We can’t wait for the first pack walk we can attend! We are so excited to keep training with Sara, and we look forward to the continuous improvements with our doggos.

Amazing amazing amazing. It’s been almost 2 years since Sarah trained us and our puppy. Everyone comments on how well behaved and trained she is. Sarah taught us how to communicate with our puppy and safely use training tools. This helps keep the dog safe in public, with other dogs, and at home. This also helped our dog fit in smoothly into our daily life and leaves us able to shower her with all the love a fur baby deserves!
