We had the pleasure of participating in Sara’s Pick of the Litter program and we are SO glad we did! Training starts before the puppy even gets into your home and Sara ensured our success by placing the emphasis on choosing the right dog first, then getting your family and house ready to welcome your new addition. We got a temperament test done on our desired puppy before we were able to bring her home. Sara offered transparency with the testing with live video footage and an emailed recording for reference. We were able to discuss what she observed as well as discuss if the puppy would be the right fit for us. Sara is amazing! It hadn't been more than a couple days after adding our giant schnauzer, Winston to our family that we decided we would need some professional help in order to ensure our future happiness as well as Winston's. Handling this new puppy at 20 pounds was not yet a daunting task, but knowing that within a year he'll be pushing 100 pounds, we gave Sara a call. Before even hiring her, the advice given during that very first consultation was making a world of difference. We signed up for the puppy day camp, which was amazing and after only a class or 2 there was a very noticeable difference in the way Winston listened and his overall behavior. We ended up signing up for the lifetime training. Winston just finished a week or so ago and now, 7 months old and creeping up on 60 pounds, he's well behaved inside and outside. He's great on his leash and we all just enjoy having him as a part of our family. For us, the results we got by hiring Sara to not only train our dog, but also to train our whole family about how to positively reinforce Winston's training at home were well worth the cost paid. We now have an amazing indoor dog who knows how to behave while inside and is also obedient away from home, which is crucial when owning a dog who's going to be so big. I'm positive that if Winston could talk he'd highly recommend Sara as well. Whenever he sees her, his excitement is obvious. I wish there were more stars to give!

Sarah and her family are top notch in dog training! We loved getting to know them & they are amazing to work with. We call Sarah the “Dog Whisperer of Springville”. She was great with our 2 Shih Tzu dogs. Patient, loving & fun. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional & was always willing to share tips & tricks for the issues we were concerned about. Sarah was always mindful of our situation & customized her training around our needs. She was genuinely concerned about helping our dogs & family be more unified. Her approach to training is practical, humane & simple. She understands dog behavior but is also very intuitive with the human side of things too. She taught us how we need to be more aware of our own behavior & how our dogs react to it. We learned about their needs & what their behavior is trying to tell us. We appreciate their continuous support after training is done & are always available to answer questions. We also love their dog boarding & daycare services as well. We can’t say enough great things about Bakers Acres & recommend them to everyone. They are worth every penny!! They have become part of our family! We love Auntie Sarah & Bakers Acres K9 Academy!!
