Trey is an incredibly helpful and encouraging trainer that genuinely cares about your pup! We were so stressed out about our rescue dog’s resource guarding and Trey helped us more than he knows! It was a huge relief to see such a change in our dog after working with Trey. We no longer feel like we aren’t in control of our pup and can breathe a little easier now that we know how to manage his resource guarding. I definitely recommend Backyard K9 to anyone looking for a dog trainer! Trey has a God-given talent for working with dogs which was evident from the first time my pup Bodi, and he met. Not only was Bodi instantly OBSESSED with Trey, but she also now listens and enjoys training so much more after he has taught me the tips and tricks to work with her on. I have known Trey for awhile. As a dog breeder it is always helpful to know a good trainer.When he was just starting in Columbia, I ended up needing his help training a dog for PTSD. It was very interesting how different it is from "normal" training. I have sent a few clients to him over the years and haven't heard any problems from them. He dies a great job adapting to the dogs in their different environments.
