I brought our 2 year old boxer to them to board and train her. Due to some family things I had not given her the attention to training she needed. Within 2 weeks they had turned her around. She loves working her training and I really believe she is happier now. They are great with updates and communicating what she is doing and sending videos of her. We are so happy we made the decision to send her there!

I can’t express enough how thankful I am for this place. Over the past 3 weeks, Chris has got my german shepherd to do things I never thought were possible. Not only do they teach your dog but they teach YOU as the owner. Definitely the place to go!!!

Our German shepherd puppy has only had 2 private sessions and it is amazing to us how she now walks on a leash, sits, and heels! Our walks used to be a nightmare and now we look forward to them! They are very professional and do an awesome job! Looking forward to seeing what else our puppy will accomplish!

Justin and Chris are very knowledgeable trainer’s. They train each dog based off the specific dog and owners needs. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Chris at Backyard Canine Academy! I have been super impressed with how much progress my 11 month pointer has made in a short period of time. Chris has been super knowledgeable, patient, and helpful with teaching me and Ranger techniques to improve obedience and recall. I’ve really enjoyed that he’s not only teaching me how to work with Ranger but also helping me to understand the why. Super happy with the experience so far!!
