This is my first time sending a new puppy to formal training and we have had the best experience. Our choc lab Millie is now 7 months and did the three week board and train with Courtney who is great. Courtney is very knowledgeable and always offers positive feedback. I can tell she genuinely loves dogs and is passionate with the training she provides. Courtney has kept in touch checking on Millie since she came home and still answers my puppy questions. Millie has boarded with Courtney recently and got a training refresher. I could not be more pleased.
I got recommended to bring my dogs to BCA. I was paired up with Courtney and she worked with my dogs during their 4 week board and train. I got recommended to bring my dogs to BCA. I was paired up with Courtney and she worked with my dogs during their 4 week board and train. She delivered great results and also offers such amazing support. Courtney does a great job communicating and checking in post training to make sure things are transitioning well at home. You won’t find support and open communication like this with many trainers and training companies!

Backyard Canine Academy is top notch. I had heard about them through a mutual friend and decided to pull the trigger on the three week puppy obedience class. I received multiple videos every other day as promised of my dogs progress. They are very knowledgeable, patient and do everything exactly as they say they will. Rocko and I are continuing on with private lessons from Chris on the weekends, building our way up to more advanced training. Chris and his wife Misty are #1 in my book, thank you guys!
Chris and Misty at Backyard Canines are amazing. They go the extra mile to help . My Great Dane has really improved her leash skills. Chris works with us as the owners to make sure we understand what we need to do in order to succeed with our dog and her training. I highly recommend Chris and Misty at Backyard Canine.
