Back to Balance Canine

Where do we even begin?? Sending our dog to board and train at Back to Balance was the BEST choice we've made, only after marriage and Lasik :) We adopted our pitbull/boxer mix Pia in 2019 and hired a private trainer shortly after to help with obedience and leash pulling. While it worked some, Pia started to become reactive and aggressive towards other dogs and strangers. We kept at it for a couple years but things just got worse. She was becoming unmanageable and it was stressful to take her on walks, have friends over, etc. In 2022 we decided to look for a board and train program for Pia. At 4 yo, we needed professionals to help us press the reset button. We did a lot of research and took our time deciding on a program. Ultimately B2B won us over - Dallas and her team were clearly experts, they were personable and kind, and helped us understand Pia's behavior. Although it was more expensive than some of the other programs we looked at, we felt it was the right fit immediately and sent the deposit. Chelsea was our main trainer and WOW, she is amazing. She was so patient with Pia, she sent us so many great videos of her progress and when it was time for our lessons with Pia, she did a terrific job with us too. It felt so good knowing Pia was in such good hands and the progress she was making was evident at our very first lesson. Pia has been home for 2 weeks now and we are over the moon to have our sweet pup back home. She's still her derpy sweet self, but in all other terms she's a changed dog. She is happier, calmer, obedient and so much more attuned to us. We still can't quite believe it's real. While she won't be a dog who will get along with all dogs, we have such a better handle on her and feel comfortable and confident taking her on walks. And, never did we think we would be able to walk Pia off leash but she is doing so well, we're nearly there!! We are beyond grateful to Chelsea and the rest of the team at B2B. Y'all are the best!! I cannot thank Dallas and her team enough for shaping my pup into a well mannered version of himself! My pup was signed up for their 4-week board & train. He learned the concepts of heel work, walking with me on a loose leash, place, and much more. Dallas/Jensen have continued to work with me 1:1 post-board & train to ensure I am communicating commands to my dog clearly. As a newbie dog owner, I rate it a 10/10 experience. I will ALWAYS recommend them to anyone interested in training no matter the skill level.

B2BK9 is simply the best! I have no words to explain how much they have helped me and my Dela manage normal life. She is a reactive and anxious doggie. Before B2BK9, I could not walk outside my apartment complex without her reacting. Today, after we did the 6 week board &train and a ton of continued training, I just took her holiday shopping with me! Something I never thought I would do. They did not only train my dog but they trained me as well. I love that they have graduate refresher clases, pack walks and are super approachable if I ever have a question!
