Feel like I was robbed by the trainer. I followed the program, even the absurd practice of feeding the dog only on my walks. The trainer went over the same few tricks every single time, MAYBE, learning something new. Most of the time my dog had too much energy to pay attention, so most of the session was wasted. Most of the time it was simple tricks that I already taught the dog at home, prior to him teaching me( he just adjusted how I did them). We only went over sit, down, spin, up, down, and heel, stay. I taught my dog, sit, down, roll over, and paw. While the trainer went over the same things everytime with maybe something new. Most of the time it was the same few tricks. My dog acted like a spaz and had no concentration to learn tricks, often It was nearing the end of the session everytime when my dog calmed down. So out of a 30 minute session my dog ran around getting energy out for 15 minutes, which means the other 10 minutes in the session were going over the same things we discussed before, the other 5 remaining minutes we would sometimes learn something. The trainer kept saying this is natural, dogs need to get their energy out. So in otherwords the clock ran up with minimal learning session. Money out of my pocket and into his. I was pissed as I put down 1000 dollars for a trainer to tell me the same things I learned at home essentially. Neighbors, family members, and friends all who had trainers before, said the training practice of essentially starving your dog and only feeding my dog on walks is absurd, my dog started puking because he didn't eat that much, as the trainer said don't feed him if he didn't pay attention to you on walks. As I should only feed him on walks. Very dissatisfied with the training. He says that you only need 30 minutes per session, that's a huge lie.
