Robert has been an awesome trainer who’s helped us out a ton! Over the last six months it’s been not only fun but a very personable experience. You can tell he puts all his energy and effort into what your dog need’s specifically and doesn’t have a cookie cutter style that you’d see at pet stores or other places. He’s flexible and very patient, I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer who goes above and beyond for the client and the dog.

Absolutely the best trainer in the valley! Robert has done a brilliant job training basic obedience skills for both my one-year-old Labradors (boy and girl). Most importantly, Robert gave my wife and me the necessary training, coaching, and tools we needed to learn that allowed us to positively reinforce their training as we progressed through basics and beyond! Robert is highly skilled and has a natural sense of understanding our dogs but his ability to communicate this while explaining it to us in a way that’s easy for us to understand is unparalleled. Our dog’s ability to listen and perform all the basic commands, in just a matter of a few sessions, over the last few weeks has been remarkable. My wife and I, while working directly with Robert during our sessions, we have gained all the skills and confidence that we did not have before this program, and without those skills, we had a stressful time managing two Labrador puppies (if you have Labradors, you know lol). Robert’s program not only elevated our confidence to train and the ability to “control” our puppies by them teaching basic obedience; yet surprisingly and arguably the most wonderful outcome is that this program has elevated our relationship and communication with our puppies and as a result has created an even stronger bond with them. Our pitbull, Bullet, was always jumping on guest (just to say hi and want to be petted). He would walk / pull us around the block. He was scared of the wheelchair and cane. After the amazing work from AZ Dog Boss, Bullet now waits to greet guest (without jumping) until we release him. He walks with us with loose tension in the lease. We allows walks with the wheelchair. Overall Robert at AZ Dog Boss did an AMAZING job with Bullet. We now have a pitbull that is a loving respectable part of the family. I can not thank Robert enough for the great work!
