AweDogs Dog Training

We had a fantastic experience with Jordan. He is patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. It was very impressive to see how much our dog had learned in just 10 days! He went from extremely reactive to able to walk past some of his previous triggers without any response. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trainer who is calm, effective, and truly cares about helping both dogs and their owners succeed.

I signed up for what I was told was a 10 day board and train program for my dog Shadow with the owner #RyanGrayce. Only after signing was I told she would be sent home every weekend and that I would need to keep up the training and send videos. Because of this, she only received 8 actual training days, not 10. The goals I discussed before signing included socialization in stores, socialization with other dogs, recall, no pulling, calm greetings, sit & stay, drop it, off leash work, and reducing destructive chewing. None of these were completed. Over the two weeks of board and train and the two weeks after, the only things we were shown were Heel, Step Back, and Place — none of which I asked for. I was told she went to the YMCA park, but I was never shown any photos or videos. My AirTag also showed her staying at the facility the entire time. I told Ryan that at the end, and he stated that after the fact, they removed her collar, but I was never told this during the program. I rely on the AirTag for safety, so I would have been upset knowing it wasn’t with her. I had the AirTag for safety if she had gotten lost they nor I could find her. I reached out several times afterward, but after June 9th I received no further responses. Sharing this so others can make an informed decision. Surely did not get what we paid for. Think before you spend the money.

I tried several different dog trainers before finding Awe Dogs. My Bernese Mountain Dog already knew basic commands, but we were still struggling with leash pulling and anxiety. From my very first consultation with Ryan, I knew we were in the right place. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and even demonstrated techniques with Eva. We’ve been working with Jordan for one-on-one training, and he has been fantastic—patient, fun, and an excellent teacher. He explains and demonstrates everything so clearly, and he’s always quick to respond whenever I have questions or get stuck practicing at home. I can’t express enough gratitude for the entire Awe Dogs team. I’m happier, my dog is calmer and happier, and our daily life together has improved dramatically. My only regret is that I didn’t start with them from the beginning!

I have a very stubborn, hyper-reactive, mannerless, five-year old (lovingly rescued) Treeing Walker Coonhound named Chloe. All of the handlers I met at AweDogs Dog Training, Ryan, Matt and Jordan, were so kind and patient with her!  It was incredible to see how many manners and behavior modification can be taught in a very short time. I had a chance to meet all of Jordan's hounds after Chloe's training, witnessing firsthand that after her training, Chloe did not bark - not even once - at any of them!!!  It was truly miraculous! Ryan and his team of trainers are miracle workers.  Helen Keller should not be the only person to hold that title!  Thank you for providing a firm foundation upon which Chloe and I may continue to build together.  The AweDogs team members and the special leash have a been a beautiful blessing from the Lord! 🙏 I will keep AweDogs apprised as to Chloe’s progress and appreciate everything you guys have done to get me headed in the right direction with my confused but precious coonhound.
