AV Dog Training

Alex was amazing with our Doberman puppy! His knowledge and understanding of dogs is unparralled, we were in awe of the things he was able to teach our puppy In just a handful of visits. Unlike other training centers, Alex not only trains the dog but “trains” the owners as well-so that the dogs continue their learned behavior with us too. We even just had him back for tuneup after some bad habits were picked up at a boarding center, and our pup marched right back into line, it was unbelievable! He will truly bring out the best in your dog!

I contacted AV Dog Training after receiving several recommendations from neighbors and friends. From our first session, I knew Alex was a great fit for our family. He came to our house to meet our new 5 month old English Cream Retriever and immediatley built a relationship with our puppy and us. Since then, our new pup is able to follow voice and hand commands, walk on a leash in a controlled manner and walk very disciplined off leash. Alex is also full of insight and helpful tips when it comes to raising our pup. I highly recommend AV Dog Training and am so thankful for the help that has made our puppy a joy to live with.

Alex was referred to us by a client who couldn’t say enough good things about him so when our new Australian labradoodle arrived we contacted AV dog training immediately. Augie adores him (as do we) and his whole demeanor changes as soon as he sees Alex coming to the door. Alex has an amazing ability to read dogs and literally get down to their level. He makes training fun for both our puppy and for us. We are now at the intermediate level which includes off leash training and continue to be impressed how Alex instills confidence not only in Augie but in us as well.
