Aurora Dog Training - formerly Dacula Dog Training

This is a very retroactive review, as Brianne trained our dog in 2020-2021. We were looking for someone to train her for service, but due to being unsocialized in lockdown, she was very anxious. It seemed great at first, but when our dog showed signs of anxiety, Brianne insisted that it was excitement. That she was over excited. I trusted the expert and did not push further, but I wish I had. Fast forward when I go on vacation, we board our dog with her. We ask for pictures constantly and do not receive any, which wasn’t initially a red flag. What became a red flag was when Brianne refused to let us inside her home when we picked our dog up, and instead waited with my dog out in the rain for 30+ minutes, both getting soaked. When Brianne came over to follow-up at our house, she brought the prong collar. Note: our pup is incredibly anxious. Prong collars should not be used on over anxious breeds. Our dog IMMEDIATELY began panting and peed herself from anxiety at the mere sight of Brianne approaching. After a few more sessions, Brianne completely ghosted us. And to be honest, I am glad. We had another trainer take a look at our dog and she is now, in essence, traumatized from the experiences she had and completely unsuitable for being a service dog. But the most disappointing thing is how mistreated she was.

I am currently taking the rally and focus class and look forward to adding an agility class. Brianne, is patient and a wealth of knowledge on dog behavior and the different dog sports. She guides you on how to build a relationship with your dog. I truly enjoy working with my Maisy and allowing her the freedom that she deserves. Brianne, thank you. Dianne
