Kirstie was incredible at helping our dog learn that other dogs aren’t scary! She built his confidence so quickly where we was then excited to go and be with her. She did training with us and him and then he went with her some weekdays to get a full day or training and fun! The lessons we learned with the one on one training guide everything we do with him now. We couldn’t be more grateful for all the help and peace of mind Kirstie gave us!

I love love love Kirstie and her company! She and Nick are amazing people and amazing trainers. My dog Mia went through the 2 week training program and she currently goes to daycare with them once a week. Mia LOVES hanging out with Kirstie, Nick and the pack. (Also super convenient they pick up and drop off!!) The ecollar training has significantly helped Mia and I manage her triggers, be able confidently train, go on long walks with less and less reactivity and do fun things! Before this training I would avoid long walks with Mia and avoid doing certain things because I didn’t have the tools to manage Mia’s reactivity and help her figure out her emotions. Mia and I communicate so much better now and our bond is stronger! Along with being a great trainer, Kirstie has been such an understanding and supportive friend to me since we’ve started. My family has been going through a tough time since June and she has been so amazing through it all. Honestly so lucky to have found her!

Kirstie and Nick are amazing and Kiwi Dog Training Academy has totally changed my life. My 9 pound Shichon Estelle was a true pandemic puppy who was very nervous around other dogs and I was an equally anxious owner who let my dog run the house. I searched for so long to find a trainer who I felt comfortable with and who I knew would truly care for Estelle and help me give her the best life. I am so happy I found Kirstie and Nick! It has been a month since Estelle participated in the 2 week boarding and training program and she has grown so much. I am now able to communicate with Estelle and she is so much more confident. Her progress has exceeded all of my wildest dreams and Kirstie and Nick have been there every step of the way to help me and Estelle. I can truly say they have made it feel like Estelle and I are part of their pack for life and I feel so confident knowing I have an amazing team behind me forever. Working with Kirstie is a pleasure. A caring professional who quickly earns your trust. Sophie an Australian cattle dog and Matty an Australian Shepard both high energy dogs and unruly were quickly transformed into obedient dogs. They love spending time with Kirstie as they run-to her car and jump in. We get videos from Kirstie showing the day’s activities, which I find reassuring. We send them three times a week for maintaining training and we love it.
