Audax K9 Academy

We LOVE Audax K9! I've had several negative experiences with other trainers so I entered into this process very warily. Jason was very compassionate to my previous training history and took the time to explain their process and practice in detail. I have two pups, and one, my German Shepherd, is the problem child. Carl loves to bark and get reactive around other dogs, specifically males. I met with Jason and worked through a plan for Carl and our other pup Bizzie, and things are just going great. We did a pack of 5 private lessons with Carl, and that really helped jumpstart our training with Audax. After the private lessons I was very nervous to join group lessons, but my fears wash away each time we come. Carl is not alone in this issue, we actually have several other GSDs in our class working on the same thing! Audax gives us a safe place to fail, get back up, and try again while keeping all the peoples and dogs safe, secure, and supported. We've done private lessons, group beginning obedience, and group intermediate obedience, and we'll keep coming back. It's a great way to spend time bonding with your dog, and keep pushing them to be the best they can be. After each of our lessons the pups completely pass out at home, exhausted and happy from a day at "work". Kim and Jason clearly take their job seriously and it truly is a family affair; group lessons are at the property where they also live with their family. We love coming here and we'll keep coming as long as they'll have us!

Kim and Jason have been training for years and raise, train and compete with German Shepherds. They understand dogs and how to engage them in wanted behaviors. My dog loves them and enjoys the classes and really understands what I'm asking of her, thanks to their balanced methods of training. They also spend time helping you to understand dogs and how they think. I wouldn't go anywhere else (I have a Malinois mix) my dog has excelled with their methods.
