Atlas K9 Training

Sending Athena to Atlas K9 Training was the best decision I’ve made for her. I’m so thankful for the work they put into her. She’s been home for a couple weeks now and as we continue building onto the foundation she was sent home with and our trust in eachother, she now has the freedom to play off leash in public without the fear of her taking off along with great leash manners! Getting a dog that would be 100+ pounds I was worried about being that person whose dog was out of control, I no longer have that fear anymore. Fair to say I might love her a little more now if that’s even possible!

Garrett is an amazing trainer! My German Shepherd was starting to get territorial over me and my belongings towards the other dogs in the house. He did an amazing job working with her and showing me how to correct her behavior. She also would not let anyone cut her toenails. She had to go to the vet to be sedated just to get her nails cut. It was getting super expensive and not sustainable to keep doing. Garrett worked with her to the point where I can cut her toenails on my own. No more expensive vet bills and being sedated for her. I would recommend Atlas K9 Training to anyone looking for a dog trainer! He communicates effectively and overall very passionate about his job! Every dog I get, I will be sending them to him. 10/10 would recommend!

Sending Cooper to Atlas K9 Training was one of the best decisions we have made for our family. Believe me when I say, I thought for sure Cooper was "untrainable". He was constantly barking, escaping the yard, and we couldn't even cut his nails without having him heavily sedated. He had a history of biting us and, unfortunately, many others. We never knew how he would react to people. We used to warn everyone about him and avoided having people over that he didn't know very well. He lived anxiously, waiting for the next "threat" and at the time, we really didn't understand why. Cooper was there with us through college, first jobs, multiple moves, marriage, and 2 babies. He was our first baby and had lived a life of luxury doing basically whatever he wanted. We knew we couldn't keep going like that so off to Atlas K9 Training he went. After his 4 week board and train, and lots of guidance and training from Garrett (for us too), we realized Cooper wasn't hopeless. He simply needed more structure and correction from us in order to live his best life. Garrett was amazing from the very beginning. He understood our frustrations and concerns, reassured us when we had doubts, held us accountable, and most importantly, loved our Cooper like his own. Garrett continues to be a huge supporter to us and Cooper. I could never thank him enough! Cooper is an almost 10 year old dachshund who had no desire to change. We are proof that even the most "hopeless" of dogs can change when given the proper training. We gained a much calmer Cooper who now looks to us for his next move. Our house has less barking, we are no longer afraid to have people over, and we can finally cut his nails at home!! We couldn't be more thankful to Atlas K9 Training for helping our family.
