Atlas K9 Training

Garret worked with my dog and I several years ago when she was 2 (she will be 6 this year) and let me be the first to say what a positive experience it was. From the initial phone consultation where he listened, answered every question that I had, and addressed all of my worries and concerns to the in person training sessions, I knew not only was Belle in good hands but so was my own education about forming a good relationship with my dog. He was able to identify where our issues were and where my own learning curve was. He sent updates and was reachable throughout the whole process. And after 4 years he still checks in and will answer questions ! His training program stands the test of time but you also have to remember your own commitment to it as well! If you stay consistent let me tell you, so will your dogs behavior ! So be consistent with what you learn from Garret because it will work.

Garrett has completely changed my life with my dogs. I originally brought my first dog to him for her extreme resource guarding issues, and basic obedience. He did more with her than I ever could’ve imagined. Our home life is much more calm, and we rarely have any issues with her guarding. Even if we do, he taught me how to control it or stop it before it starts. We’re able to go out and do so much more with her. I recently traveled all the way to Florida with her, and she did amazing. I ended up sending my older dog to him as well so he could venture out with us too! Off leash training has opened so many doors for us. He explained the process every step of the way, and has always been there as a resource even after taking the dogs home. I know that if I ever have an issue with either of my dogs in the future, he will gladly be there to help me! I am thankful that I found Garrett, and I recommend him to everyone I know!

We have used Garrett twice now. First when my now husband and I sent both our dogs for training with Garrett so they could learn to live together in the same house. The training he was able to provide a foundation for has already helped us to have a more peaceful home environment for both our dogs. Second when my in-laws were looking for some training help for their two doodles after a change in life circumstances made it difficult for them to manage the dogs without training. The training foundation Garrett provided has made their doodles more manageable day to day.

I sent my border collie to be trained back in 2024 at Atlas K9 training. I was having issues with her behaviors and her coming to me when I call out to her. She was hyper around people and other dogs, she would jump on people and the list just went on. To be honest, I was expecting her to be better when I picked her up from training, but to my great surprise I WAS, AND STILL AM, AMAZED at the dog I got back. She is so well behaved still to this day. No jumping, she comes to me immediately when called and the greatest thing that Garrett taught her was to stay in “ her place” when I put her there. I could go on and on about all the changes Garrett has done. Garrett not only transformed my dog he spent time working with me and educating me on how and why dogs do the things they do. I felt like when I picked my dog up and returned home. I was fully confident that I would be able to keep reinforcing my dogs training. I would recommend Atlas K9 to anyone wanting to get their dog transformed, you will be amazed, simply amazed at what Garrett can do. My dog is so much fun now we’re able to take her anywhere. When we take her out in public, I am always getting complimented on what a well-behaved dog she is.

Garrett is the only person we trust with our dog, Kobe. Kobe has been going to Garrett ever since we got him about 6 years ago. The first time Garrett trained him, it was a complete 180. Garrett cares so much about Kobe and it really shows every time we drop him off. Garrett even comes up with extra ways to “tune” Kobe to make sure he stays in tip-top shape. We have brought two kids into the house since we got Kobe and Garrett has implemented ways to make Kobe more safe around them. He goes above and beyond! We have recommended Garrett to many friends and family and will continue to do so!
