If you are trying to find an excellent trainer for you and your pups, look no further. Jess is hands-down the best. We utilized her board and train program for our male golden, Luca, to improve his leash walking and reactivity/excitement towards meeting humans, and he came home an impeccably trained dog. She also gives you the guidance and instruction necessary to keep up the training on your own. We also utilized her perfect puppy program once we got our new puppy, Olive, and it was amazing to have her grow up with those foundations in place. Both of our dogs are now excellent at walking with a leash and have gained great off-leash skills as well. Jess goes above and beyond with communication throughout the entire process and beyond. Even after completing their training programs, our dogs look forward to staying with Jess for boarding when we go out of town, and we feel so comfortable having them there with her. In addition, the option of having touch up training days while boarding can be a great refresher for your pup. I did the 3-week board and train, and I could not be happier with the results! My dog went from being completely out of control to a well-behaved and balanced companion. If I hadn't done this training, I hate to think what could have happened. The transformation has been incredible! Not only is she an amazing trainer, but she’s also incredibly friendly and truly cares about both the dogs and their owners. She takes the time to explain everything, making sure you feel confident continuing the training at home. Atlas Canine has been a blessing for us. Jess took our little guy Milo who was a scared little rescue puppy and brought back a transformed dog. Milo now walks with us instead of dragging us around the block, He doesn't react to other dogs we see while walking, He comes, sits, lays down, and goes in his place on command and waits until he is released. He even sits still when we cut his nails, and walks on the treadmill on these cold, snowy days. Jess worked miracles with our little guy and he is so much happier knowing what we want from him.
