Atlas Canine

We rescued our German Shepherd when she was a year old, and she came to us with some serious behavioral issues. Jess and Atlas Canine did an incredible job helping her build a solid foundation—she’s truly a completely different dog now! Jess is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. We had tried working with another trainer in the area before, but unfortunately saw no progress. In contrast, Jess provided exactly the guidance and support we needed. Shout out to Atlas Canine - Jed finished up 10 weeks of training this week. Pretty sure had we not had Jess’s help, my husband and I would both be scheduled for shoulder surgery from leash pulling. Jed can now walk on a loose leash, pass a rabbit or deer without losing his mind, and has learned how to calm himself down around other dogs and in exciting environments. Jess is friendly, communicates well, kept us accountable, and taught us how to advocate for our dog. She is very knowledgeable about all breeds and their specific quirks & needs and tailors the training style to each person’s trust level with the dog. I learned that just a few basic commands can really be applied in almost any scenario. It’s been fun to see the change in Jed and we are glad that we have now have the knowledge to enjoy him in all kinds of different scenarios. If you’re in need, we highly recommend Atlas Canine!
