We recently sent our 1 1/2 year old puppy Joey here to get trained. I honestly don’t even have the words to describe how amazing the staff was. There are constantly photos being upload of your dog. They treated him like their own family, it was amazing and I was beyond pleased. We then went there after the two weeks of board and train for our own training. It was amazing how patient they were with us and helped us to better understand our dog in order to get the best out of him. We are so satisfied with him and just glad that he is such a different dog. They truly helped him come out of his shell. I could also just see the love he had for Ari and all the people there that it made me feel a million times better about my decision. We will totally board him there in the future as well!

Atlantic K9 has been a life changer for us! Our 9 month old German Shepherd puppy knew basic commands, but as she got older she started testing the limits. She pulled on walks, had no recall at all, and her behavior could be unpredictable. We wanted to address any problem behaviors before they escalated. Since we both work full time we couldn’t give her the time and consistency she needed to clearly define boundaries. We chose Atlantic K9 due to all the positive reviews. We drove an hour and a half just to bring Gia to their 2 week bootcamp. Throughout her time there we could see daily pictures of her playing and training, and we were also provided updates on how she was doing. It’s been about 3 months since Gia graduated bootcamp and it has changed so much! She is still her same goofy, sweet self, but no longer is bitey, has amazing recall and obedience, and going for walks is stress free. We’ve been approached several times in breweries and dog parks where people comment on how well behaved she is! Lastly, the staff at Atlantic K9 is so knowledgeable and friendly! Every person I interacted with truly understood dogs and their behavior. I was hesitant to leave her somewhere, but the moment I dropped her off I could tell she was in good hands. Gia’s trainer was Jenny and she was so amazing, patient, and clearly knows what she’s doing! She thoroughly went over how to reinforce and continue her training. They even have a training session to check-in a couple months later to see how they are progressing and address any concerns. Gia is now the sweetest girl ever and being her owner is so rewarding and stress-free. Bringing Gia to bootcamp was the best decision we could have made for her and us! I originally picked Atlantic canine training based on their reviews, and I really enjoyed talking to Kathleen she was very positive and upbeat. When I first brought my dog to the training facility for the Boot Camp program they said the first week he was not the type of dog that could do be a service dog. But they soon change their mind on the second week he's very intelligent sometimes a little stubborn but he is the perfect perfect gentleman now. At first I did one single lesson with Jenny. I could not get my dog to walk on a leash he was always on guard to make sure I was protected. Jenny was absolutely amazing and one hour my dog was trained to walk on a leash. I was leery of the prong collar at first thinking it would really hurt my baby boy but it's really nothing more than a reminder as his mother would give him. I don't know where to start with Ari. I have never met anyone so knowledgeable about dogs than her. She is super amazing and super nice she treated my dog as if it was her own. She knew that my dog was an Emotional support animal. I wanted him to be my service animal for my mental disabilities he helps me tremendously. I had a follow up lesson with her and we did every command that she had taught us and Tucker. Like before I was leery of the E collar burning my babies neck. She went over the whole thing . we found my dogs threshold for training. My wife and I both felt the so-called shock that comes out of the collar. To tell you the truth we didn't feel anything at all even on the highest threshold. The type of dog I have is a corgi and a pug mix his name is Tucker. I think that he is now the most amazing dog in the world. Soon we are going for our GCT. I can't wait. The next time we need training or even boarding or even a one day play date that is the place I am going. I wish I could give them 1 million stars. Thank you so much Steve
